DJ Billie Jazz has been performing at Clubs, Bars, Raves, House Parties, Boat Parties, Receptions and Festivals for nearly 10 years now.

His record collection is extremely versatile. He specialises in 70s, 80s and 90s classics including Dance, House, Hip Hop, Soul and Disco, and has a great formula for getting the dancefloors of Formals, After Parties, 18ths, 21st, and the like heavily worked! Event Services:

Billie has been involved in festivals and events for over 10 years.

By ’97 he had organised and promoted his first event ‘Urban Wilderness’ at the (then)

Melbourne City Square, this event attracted around 500 participants. Then in ’99, he teamed up with ‘Brave New World’ and organised ‘Freedom’, another free event at Alexandra Gardens, Melbourne. This attracted close to 3000 people and was the largest free electronic music festival Melbourne had seen. He organised one other free event in 2000 called ‘Freestyle’ which was in conjunction with the Australian In-Line Skating Competition, which was also a great success.

Since then, Billie has chosen to be employed by large festivals and events for his services. He has been part of the management team of ‘Rainbow Serpent Festival’ since 1998, and has worked in middle-management levels on Festivals such as ‘Wakestock’, the Extreme Sports Festival in Toronto, Canada (40,000 people), ‘In the Realm of the Senses’, Independent Short Film Festival in Melbourne (400 people), and more recently, on ‘The Pyramid Rock Festival’, the New Years Eve Music Festival on Phillip Island, Victoria.

He has acted as consultant for many aspiring event promoters over the years and has also participated in countless volunteer activities, especially in the early years of his career including the above free events as well as another music festival he organised for a community school in Nepal in 2005.
